Alliance Airlines

The Evolution of Alliance Airlines: In 1987, Alliance Airlines (dba, Alliance Air) began providing scheduled interline road feeder service to a handful of international airlines. Six years later, Alliance added airline cargo handling services and upped its client base to 20-some carriers. Today, Alliance provides road feeder and handling services in addition to personnel services to over 110 international airlines. Working with the world’s leading airlines for 21 years, Alliance Air gears its services specifically to the needs of the international airlines it serves. Alliance Air has invested over $2 million in its information and operating system, 3A Track.

3A Track gives full, immediate status information on all freight within the Alliance Air network electronically – from origin to destination. Alliance Air provides airline cargo handling services to 18 International Airlines in four cities: Chicago, New York, Atlanta, and Miami. In Chicago, Alliance Air operates 390,629 square feet of airline cargo handling space between three on-airport facilities. A custom-built 176,000 s.f. facility houses the company’s corporate headquarters and Chicago Cargo Services. A 107,629 s.f warehouse directly across from the larger facility is used to handle Japan Airlines and EVA Air. Another 107,000 s.f. warehouse houses Polar Air Cargo. It is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is secured with around the clock monitoring video cameras. Alliance is the largest independent handling company at O’Hare.
